OXYFLEX® MT Membrane Disc Diffuser

The reliable diffuser at a fair price

The OXYFLEX® MT Membrane Disc Diffuser is used in communal and industrial waste water treatment plants all over the world. It is characterised by easy installation options as well as an almost maintenance-free operation and a long service life at a low purchase price. Due to its extremely compact design, the OXYFLEX® MT Disc Diffuser can be easily arranged for each tank shape.

Designs

OXYFLEX® MT Membrane Disc Diffusers consist of a flat, heavily ribbed and fibreglass-reinforced polypropylene base plate and a mounted membrane (e.g. EPDM). The OXYFLEX® MT Membrane Disc Diffuser is manufactured in two sizes: OXYFLEX® MT235 (free membrane diameter of 235 mm) and OXYFLEX® MT300 (free membrane diameter of 300 mm). The base construction is a fibreglass-reinforced polypropylene disc. The membrane is form-fitted to this disc with a plastic ring made of fibreglass-reinforced polypropylene. The OXYFLEX® MT is supplied with a robust 1“ thread connector as standard. It is also available with a ¾“ connector on request. The OXYFLEX® MT AS design includes a clamp saddle for the assembly on round pipes.

Easy to assemble

Due to the male thread at the diffuser bottom, the OXYFLEX® MT Disc Diffuser is easily screwed onto existing male pipe threads. The diffuser is available with a 1" or 3/4" male thread. In combination with our Supratec clamp saddles (available separately), the OXYFLEX® MT Membrane Disc Diffuser is easily installed on almost all commonly used round pipes.

Suitable for different requirements

The OXYFLEX® MT Membrane Disc Diffuser is a fine-bubble diffuser with an EPDM membrane and an optional silicone membrane. (The silicone membrane is only available for the OXYFLEX® MT300.) The diffuser's design allows its intermittent operation because the membrane closes on its own accord due to the water pressure, thereby preventing the ingress of sludge into the diffuser. For additional safety, the diffuser can be fitted with an optional non-return valve. The extremely robust diffuser body (made of fibreglass-reinforced polypropylene) fulfils highest operating requirements and ensures the long-term service of the OXYFLEX® MT.
