PERMOX® OM120

Small pressure loss and a long service life due to a flat degassing surface

Due to its flat membrane surface which degasses upwards, the PERMOX OM120 Oval Membrane Tube Diffuser is characterised by high efficiency and a stable and small pressure loss. As a result, its service life is significantly longer compared with that of a common tube diffuser.

Design

The body design is an oval stainless steel tube (AISI316/1.4401). The membrane is pulled onto this pipe and fixed to the ends of the diffuser using stainless steel clamps. The entire body can be flooded.

Different design lengths for each tank size

The PERMOX® OM120 Oval Membrane Tube Diffusers are manufactured in two sizes:

• PERMOX® OM120 1.0 (active membrane surface 0.12 m²)
• PERMOX® OM120 1.5 (active membrane surface 0.18 m²)
• PERMOX® OM120 2.0 (active membrane surface 0.24 m²)

High efficiency and operational safety

The fine-bubble PERMOX® OM120 Oval Membrane Tube Diffuser can be operated intermittently.

PERMOX® OM120 Oval Membrane Tube Diffusers have a proven track record in municipal and industrial plants worldwide.

Due to its relatively high self-weight, this diffuser is particularly suited for liftable grids.

The standard control range is between 0 and 15 Nm³/h per metre. Specific oxygen transfer rates in pure water of more than 25 g O2/Nm³ x m can be achieved for the flat layout and correct water depths.

Assembly on square stainless steel pipe

As standard, the PERMOX® OM120 Oval Membrane Tube Diffuser can be assembled on square stainless steel pipes with dimensions of (width x height) 100 mm x 100 mm or 80 mm x 80 mm. Adapter U-straps for assembly on pipes with different heights are available on request.
